Scientific background

​

I studied Biology and Medical Laboratory research at the Avans university in Breda. During my study I did an internship for 9 months at the department of Human Genetics under the supervision of Dr. Heleen Arts. After completing my study I started as a research technician at the department of Physiology in the group of Prof. Dr. J. Hoenderop, after which I returned to the department of Human Genetics to join the group of Dr. Rob Collin and Dr. Alex Garanto.

Hobbies outside science

In my free time I like to travel and explore new places. I enjoy playing games, taking walks and spend time with my friends and family.
