Scientific background
I earned my degree in life sciences from the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, focusing my studies on Biomolecular research. During my studies I interned at UCLA's Department of Neurology, studying exosomes and their implications in neurodegenerative diseases. Later, at RadboudUMC's Genetics Department, I dedicated my efforts to a project centered around Inherited Retinal Diseases.
Hobbies outside science
In my free time I like to go salsa dancing and practice sports like fitness and running. Other hobbies are cooking and reading books.
