Scientific background​

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Barcelona in 2023 and subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Biomedical Research at Pompeu Fabra University. During my undergraduate and master’s training, I conducted my thesis work in the laboratory of Dr. Rovira Clusellas, where I focused on optimizing culture conditions for pancreatic ductal organoids and studying how different factors influence their cellular identity. In 2025, I relocated to Nijmegen to start my PhD, which is focused on developing retinal cellular models and modeling inherited retinal diseases.

Hobbies outside science

In my free time, I enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle by combining gym training, walks in nature, and trying out different sports. I also enjoy reading, spending time with friends, watching classic films, and, above all, traveling.
